What is required to rent from Jas Investments?

We do have some minimal requirements to qualify. These are listed on our website for you to view.

 

How long is the lease?

Are pricing is for yearly term leases, you can inquire on a shorter term.

 

How much will it cost initially when signing lease?

We require the security deposit and 1st month’s rent at the signing of lease. Also we will prorate the rent if needed and the deposit will be listed on our website.

 

What do I need to do if I’m interested in your Apartment?

First after checking our requirements you can email or call to set

a viewing, then after that you can go to our website and fill out our application and pay $35. We do the credit and background check. We then will contact you for some clarification or approval.

 

What do I need to do before I take possession?

We will send you the proper information to contact the appropriate utility company to have switched in your name. and go to the post office to transfer your address.

 

When is rent due?

1st month’s rent will paid at the signing of the lease and the rest will be due on the 1st and late on the 5th.

 

What happens if I’m late on the rent?

You will be sent a late letter explaining what will happen if you don’t pay and will calculate total amount with the late fee included.

 

How do I pay online?

Call or email us to have your link emailed to you, from there you will create and save your password. There you will also be able to request maintenance issues too.

 

How do I renew my lease?

Do nothing and it automatically renews another year.

 

Do I need to be present for any maintenance work?

No, however you will be contacted to make arrangements to have some there if you wish.

 

What do you charge with regards to repairs?

We will show our price list for most common repairs, some we might not know until after we are billed.

 

Can I do repairs or paint the property?

No we don’t allow our customers to do the repairs to our units for liability reasons.

 

What if I want to add a person or remove a person from the lease?

We would need to qualify them the same way we screened you. So we would need an application filled out for the process. And also some of our prices include water and sewage. If so we may request and increase to handle the increase.

 

What do I need to do if I want to leave at the end of the lease?

You will need to submit in writing 60 days before the end of the lease with your intentions.

 

How can I get my security deposit back?

After the 60-day notice is received we will send out a move out packet to spell out everything for you do to receive your full deposit back.

 

Can I use my security deposit for the last months rent?

No, we will inspect the property after your completely move out, we would schedule a walk though at that time. Then we will send the deposit to your forwarding address.
